Tip: Controls and Programmers

Regular questions are always asked to Tetlow in regards to the control system, so heres a post that we hope helps!

- All kilns and furnaces need a method of reading and controlling temperature
 (This varies between individuals and are preferential)

What is offered are as follows:

- Controller 
  This is a set point controller that will shut off OR hold the kiln at a set temperature, rate of increase is controlled by an energy regulator.

- Programmer
  This is a microprocessor digital display programmer that allows for up to 9 programmes which are pre-programmed to assist in simple firing of different types. It is an automated method of controlling the kiln with advance facilities and delay starts.
