Lost Wax Burnout Furnaces

Lost-wax casting is a process by which a duplicate sculpture is cast from an original sculpture, with the achievability of intricate work via this method. The furnace is designed to melt out most of the wax, recovering this in a tray at the base of the furnace, then burning out the residue at high temperature, and finally curing the ceramic mold, ready to be used for casting. The size of the furnace can range depending on the process, such as from a small electric bench model to a large furnace with a heavy duty bogie hearth. This furnace type is perfect for dental laboratories and jewellery makers.
